 Jim
and Marsha are in Lima, Peru June 1-13 on their summer mission trip to that
city. You
can read about their trip hereJim and Marsha have been actively involved in missions work in Peru since 2000. Their role is to train and equip pastors and church leaders, and encourage the church. Their primary ministry is among churches of the Victory Fellowship of Ministries and Victory Bible Institute of Peru (VBI-Peru), and the National Association of Evangelical Churches of Christ of Peru to the Nations. Jim serves as an apostolic leader of the denomination. In addition to these two groups, Jim and Marsha travel up and down the coastal region of Peru, ministering to pastors and church leaders, and their congregations. Marsha is founder of Mujeres de Valor (Women of Worth), an organization dedicated to helping women find their place of ministry in the body of Christ. Many pastors and church leaders look to Jim and Marsha as their spiritual parents, a role they take very seriously. Jim and Pastor Bill Rogers of Word of Life Fellowship in Bentonville (Jim's home church) travelled to Peru in late February.
